ShorPOWER® ULTRA frequency converter is a sophisticated "smart
system" that isolates, regulates and conditions dockside
power. The ULTRA protects the onboard electrical system by
eliminating voltage spikes, surges, voltage drops or sags and
harmonic distortions typical of dock power.
ShorPOWER®
ULTRA is offered in two versions; a low voltage version for the yacht
under 150 feet, that travels mainly in the US and the Caribbean, and
a high voltage version for the yacht over 150 feet. Both the
high and low voltage versions of ShorPOWER® convert any frequency
and phase to the yacht's exact electrical requirements.
Over
twenty years of design experience in power conversion systems and
maritime electronics has been applied in the development of the
ShorPOWER® ULTRA unit. Designed for simple installation, the
ULTRA is surprisingly lightweight, and packaged with the space
limitations of the yacht in mind. The ShorPOWER® ULTRA is
built to deliver many years of reliable and maintenance free
performance.
The
ShorPOWER® ULTRA will convert single phase voltage or three phase
voltage to the specific electrical configuration onboard the
yacht. This system is available in sizes from 12 to 300 kVA,
and can be paralleled for increased capacity. UPS option
available.
